Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainville Blue Devils. Blue Dragons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Devils since on Monday.

Savino Civitillo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Frankie Randazzese, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
