Basketball Recap: Ringgold Comes Up Short

Ringgold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 65-49.

Ringgold now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Ringgold is taking a road trip to square off against North Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ringgold is facing North Murray at the right time seeing as North Murray is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
