Warrensville Heights extends home winning streak to 17

The Warrensville Heights Tigers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They took down Loudonville 67-51. Warrensville Heights' win was all the more impressive since Loudonville was averaging only 29 points allowed on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warrensville Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chelsea Johnson, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leilani Mcneill, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Warrensville Heights pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.41 points. As for Loudonville, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-1.

Warrensville Heights will be playing in front of their home fans against Maple Heights at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Maple Heights will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 529th, while Warrensville Heights is ranked 64th). As for Loudonville, they will head out on the road to square off against Colonel Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
