Baseball Recap: Damonte Ranch Comes Up Short

Damonte Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Reno Huskies. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Damonte Ranch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taron Goodman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Damonte Ranch's record is now 1-14. As for Reno, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Damonte Ranch will square off against rival Spanish Springs at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Reno is set to face off against their familiar foe Galena at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
