Monroe County won against Wilcox Central on Tuesday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Tigers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-21 victory over the Shields Panthers. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Monroe County, bringing their record up to 14-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Shields, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
