Donovan Catholic put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Central Regional Golden Eagles 17-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-5 on April 9th.

Dani Rodriguez spent all four innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on zero hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Donovan Catholic got a massive performance out of Isabella Cino, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave Cino a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Kurth, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Donovan Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in 12 consecutive games.

Donovan Catholic pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Central Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
