Having struggled with three losses in a row, Tri-West Hendricks turned things around against University on Saturday. They rang in the new year with a 56-49 win over the Trailblazers.

She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lauren Bear, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory hadn't done well against Heritage Christian recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory skirted past Heritage Christian 54-52.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's record now sits at 9-7. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
