Soccer Game Preview: Nandua vs. Holly Grove Christian

The Nandua Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Holly Grove Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Nandua and three for Holly Grove Christian.

Nandua fell victim to Sussex Central and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Golden Knights. While losing is never fun, Nandua can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 275th in Virginia, while Sussex Central are ranked 24th in Delaware).

Meanwhile, Holly Grove Christian came up short against Greenwood Mennonite last Thursday, falling 4-1. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no goals scored by either team from that point forward.

Nandua's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Holly Grove Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
