After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Derby, Valley Center was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Haysville Campus Colts to the tune of 55-23. The match marked the Hornets' most dominant victory of the season.

Haysville Campus lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kenzie Lever, who posted eight points. Madilyn Harris also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Valley Center has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Haysville Campus, their loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Center will face off against Hutchinson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Haysville Campus, they will take on Derby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Derby will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Haysville Campus surely won't give up without a fight.
