Soccer Recap: Southmont Takes a Loss

Southmont managed to keep up with Cascade until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mounties lost 5-1 to the Cadets. Southmont haven't had much luck with Cascade recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Southmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Cascade, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southmont will face off against Northview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cascade, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Monrovia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
