Preview: South Salem Saxons vs. Cascade Christian Challengers
After two games on the road, South Salem is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Cascade Christian Challengers at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three games, South Salem finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were beaten by St. Joseph 98-23. South Salem was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-9.
Meanwhile, Cascade Christian pushed their score all the way to 71 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Beaverton 76-71.
South Salem's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cascade Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.
