Volleyball Recap: Pescadero Falls to Emery in First Game of Season

Pescadero unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Emery Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Vikings have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Emery's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pescadero will take on Mid-Peninsula at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pescadero is facing Mid-Peninsula at the right time seeing as Mid-Peninsula is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Emery, they will challenge Contra Costa Christian at 4:30 p.m. on March 21st.
