Basketball Game Preview: Imagine Prep Storm vs. Dream City Christian

Imagine Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 82-50 victory over Heritage Academy. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Jaylen Cassidy was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Eaddy, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 11 points along with eight boards and five steals.

Meanwhile, Dream City Christian is still winless after their contest against Prolific Prep of Napa Christian on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-63 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crew. One positive for Dream City Christian, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Dream City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Imagine Prep, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Everything came up roses for Imagine Prep against Dream City Christian in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the team secured a 65-28 victory. Does Imagine Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dream City Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
