Basketball Game Preview: Little Elm Lobos vs. Braswell Bengals

Little Elm is 2-8 against Braswell since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Little Elm Lobos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Braswell Bengals at 5:45 p.m. Braswell took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Little Elm, who comes in off a win.

Little Elm is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Lewisville with a sharp 70-50 win on Saturday.

Little Elm had a senior duo take command as Shiloh Kimpson went 6 of 13 on her way to 23 points and six steals and Raniyah Hunt went 7 of 12 on her way to 20 points. Kimpson's afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Brooks, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Braswell unfortunately witnessed the end of their 18-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Guyer by a score of 49-47.

Little Elm's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-19. As for Braswell, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 25-2.
