St. David's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Hauser, who posted four points and seven rebounds. Hauser has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Jordyn Driggers was another key player, putting up six points and six steals.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Thales Academy Rolesville over Southern Wake Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Thales Academy Rolesville blew Southern Wake Academy out of the water with a 50-15 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established a 25 point advantage.
Thales Academy Rolesville's win came from a few key players St. David's will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elizabeth Rowland, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Van Valkenburg, who put up 17 points and seven assists.
Thales Academy Rolesville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points per game. As for St. David's, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.
