Baseball Recap: Norcom Takes a Loss

Norcom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Churchland Truckers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Truckers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in April.

Norcom saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charles Rumble, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That RBI was Rumble's first of the season.

Norcom's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Churchland, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Norcom will head out to take on Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Churchland, they will take on Deep Creek at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
