Baseball Recap: Dutch Fork Wins Going Away Against Dreher

Dutch Fork's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Dreher Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The contest marked the Silver Foxes' most dominant victory of the season so far.

J Jackson and Ethan Offing did most of the damage at the plate: Jackson went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double, while Offing scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Those stolen bases were Offing's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Salters, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Dutch Fork always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Dutch Fork's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Dreher, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Dutch Fork will square off against Greer at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Greer will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dutch Fork surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dreher, they will take on South Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Pointe has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.6 runs per game on average), something Dreher will no doubt try to take advantage of.
