NSU University took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Jupiter Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Sharks had just enough and edged out the Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Sharks have posted since September 10, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-99) NSU University actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-12.

The victory made it two in a row for NSU University and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Jupiter Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

After both having extra time off, NSU University and Chaminade-Madonna will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jupiter Christian, they will face off against Oxbridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
