Baseball Recap: San Angelo Central Takes a Loss

San Angelo Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Midland Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 last Thursday.

San Angelo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14-1. As for Midland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

While San Angelo Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
