Basketball Recap: Loudon Falls to Ooltewah in First Game of Season

Loudon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ooltewah Owls on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Loudon lost, don't look at Zaylan Giles. Despite the final result, she posted 17 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Annie Rae Rohen, who had six points.

Loudon has already played their next contest, a 48-44 win against Meigs County on the 18th. As for Ooltewah, they will challenge Chattanooga Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
