Soccer Recap: Rowlett Comes Up Short

Rowlett was the 2-0 winner over Smithson Valley when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Rowlett have lost by exactly two goals.

Rowlett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Smithson Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1.

Looking ahead, Rowlett will welcome Madison at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Smithson Valley, they will host Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Reagan's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
