After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Quinta, Hesperia was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Silverado Hawks. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Scorpions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jalyssa Villalobos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

On the hitting side, Hesperia secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Aliyah Villalobos, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hesperia's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Silverado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Hesperia will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
