The Holmes County Blue Devils and the Malone Tigers will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Holmes County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Holmes County fought the good fight in their overtime game against Laurel Hill on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 61-56 to the Hoboes.

Meanwhile, Malone was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 54-48 to Marianna. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malone's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Holmes County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Holmes County got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in November of 2025 against Malone by a conclusive 61-37 score. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Tigers' Belicia Faust, who went 7-for-12 from beyond the arc on her way to 26 points and three steals.
