Basketball Recap: Wamego Comes Up Short

Wamego was the 56-45 winner over Louisburg when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Wamego Red Raiders took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Louisburg Wildcats on Friday. The loss was the Red Raiders' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wamego fell to 2-1. As for Louisburg, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wamego will take on Chapman in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Louisburg and Baldwin will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Louisburg surely won't give up without a fight.
