Southeast Alamance had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Monday. They claimed a resounding 79-17 win over the North Moore Mustangs. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 73-7.

Southeast Alamance got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Inysia McIver out in front who posted 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. The dominant performance gave McIver a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Clara LaChapelle, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine assists.

Southeast Alamance was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Moore only posted three assists.

Southeast Alamance's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.2 points over those games. As for North Moore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
