Baseball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 two weeks ago.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Croswell-Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Carrollton has already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against Ithaca on the 28th. As for Croswell-Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-7 loss against North Branch on the 29th.
