Basketball Recap: Cherokee Christian Takes a Loss

Cherokee Christian lost against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cherokee Christian Warriors fell 37-28 to the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Cherokee Christian lost, don't look at Haydan Bossart. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Karma Thomas, who put up eight points.

Cherokee Christian's record is now 2-6. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Cherokee Christian will venture away from home to face off against Harvester Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harvester Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cherokee Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they will host Pinecrest Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
