Union County came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rockmart Yellowjackets 79-40. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Union County pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rockmart, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union County will venture away from home to square off against Sonoraville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockmart, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
