Baseball Recap: Los Amigos Takes a Loss

After flying high against Western on Friday, Los Amigos came back down to earth. The Lobos came up short against the Whittier Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 8-1. That makes it the first time this season the Lobos have let down their home crowd.

Los Amigos' defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Whittier, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Looking ahead, Los Amigos will face off against Muir at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lobos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. Whittier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
