Basketball Recap: Stockton Comes Up Short

Stockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Skyline Tigers 71-23. While losing is never fun, Stockton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Skyline is ranked 33rd).

Stockton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Skyline, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Stockton will square off against Marionville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-68 loss against Battle on the 11th.
