Western extended their home winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Byron Miranda. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Loara Saxons with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Miranda, who had 19 digs and one assist. Miranda is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

Western not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Loara between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Western's record now sits at 19-1. As for Loara, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-14 record.

Coming up, Western will welcome Orange at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loara, they will square off against Anaheim at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colonists will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Saxons surely won't give up without a fight.
