Arvin had won two straight games and Kayleene Pantoja did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Bears came out on top against the McFarland Cougars by a score of 3-1 with plenty of help from Pantoja, who had 18 digs and four aces. Pantoja is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Arvin was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Janielle Castrellon and Leslie Rodriguez certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Castrellon had 12 digs and eight aces, while Rodriguez had 14 digs and three aces.

Arvin's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for McFarland, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Arvin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Liberty on the 5th. As for McFarland, they will face off against Wasco at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
