Basketball Recap: McNairy Central Bobcats vs. Middleton Tigers
McNairy Central hadn't done well against Middleton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The McNairy Central Bobcats pulled ahead with a 35-34 photo finish over the Middleton Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 56-42 loss.
Despite the loss, Middleton still got an impressive performance from Tamarcus Smith, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
