Basketball Recap: Eureka Makes It 11 in a Row on the Road

Eureka put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 58-21 win over the Flinthills Mustangs. Fans of the Tornadoes have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Eureka pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Flinthills, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Eureka will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fredonia on January 10, 2025. After both having extra time off, Flinthills and Classical will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
