With a playoff win on the line, South Sevier rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the North Sevier Wolves. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Houston Blake was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Gus Ingram, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

South Sevier's record is now 15-12. As for North Sevier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

As of now, neither South Sevier nor North Sevier have any future games scheduled.
