When it comes to explaining why Cross Lanes Christian lost, don't look at Christian Shamblin. Despite the final result, he posted five points and 11 rebounds. Shamblin is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played.

Cross Lanes Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Covenant, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
