Basketball Game Preview: Chambers Academy Rebels vs. Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights

Macon-East Montgomery Academy took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springwood. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Wildcats are ranked 17th).

Chambers Academy will have to contain Jamiyah Powell as she made an impact in Macon-East Montgomery Academy's last game. She dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Jadah Powell, who posted six points.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Chambers Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
