Basketball Recap: Oakland Christian Takes a Loss

Oakland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 33-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Inter-City Baptist Chargers. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 19-18.

Oakland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Inter-City Baptist, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Oakland Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Roeper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Inter-City Baptist, they will venture away from home to challenge Clarenceville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Inter-City Baptist is facing Clarenceville at the right time seeing as Clarenceville is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
