Baseball Recap: Matoaca Comes Up Short

Matoaca lost to Prince George back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Royals, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly ten runs.

Matoaca now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Prince George, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Matoaca is set to face off against their familiar foe Colonial Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Prince George will take on rival Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
