Football Recap: Gage Davis Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Pleasant Home + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Florala). They strolled past the Pleasant Home Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 34-18. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Florala's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Davis, who threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Davis a new career-high in rushing yards (17). Florala's leading receiver Noah Bryan was Davis' top target yet again, picking up 144 receiving yards and one TD.

Florala didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Anderson and Dalton Devenney. Nikko Bradberry was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble and making 25 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Florala's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pleasant Home, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.
