Softball Recap: El Dorado Aztecs vs. Chapin Huskies
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, El Dorado couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Chapin Huskies by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-6 defeat on Friday.
Maya Fernandez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
El Dorado's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-10. As for Chapin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-8-2.
As of now, neither El Dorado nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
