Soccer Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley managed to slip by East Mountain the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 4-1 to the Timberwolves on Wednesday. The matchup was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Valley it sure didn't stay that way.

Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Moriarty at 4:00 p.m. on September 9. As for East Mountain, they will face off against Grants at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. East Mountain will be up against Grants' rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
