Basketball Game Preview: Parkway Northwest Hoyas vs. Central Lancers

The Parkway Northwest Hoyas will venture away from home to square off against the Central Lancers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Parkway Northwest has four straight victories, Central has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Parkway Northwest is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Randolph Vo-Tech 74-54 on Tuesday.

Jaicir Isaac and Xavier Dyer were among the main playmakers for Parkway Northwest as the former posted 18 points and the latter had 16 points. The dominant performance gave Isaac a new career-high in points. Kahleem Jordan was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against John Bartram on Tuesday and fell 54-43. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while the Braves are ranked 273rd).

Parkway Northwest's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
