Baseball Recap: Albemarle Takes a Loss

Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the South Davidson Wildcats, falling 16-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-11 last Wednesday.

Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Davidson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Albemarle will head out on the road to square off against North Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Davidson, they will take on South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
