If Holton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hayden, they should've done a better job of containing Ella Foster. Hayden walked away with a 3-1 victory over Holton on Thursday for which the team can thank Foster, who had 29 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.8 digs per game.

Holton's loss came despite strong showings from Presley Phillips and Bailey Kathrens. Phillips had ten digs, while Kathrens had six digs and one assist.

Hayden's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Holton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season.

Hayden has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Washburn Rural on the 4th. As for Holton, they will challenge Riley County on Tuesday.
