Softball Recap: Madeira Wins Going Away Against Lockland

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Reading, Madeira was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lockland Panthers as they made off with a 16-3 victory. Considering the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Madeira moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lockland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madeira will challenge Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Lockland, they will take on North College Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
