Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeview Academy Lions vs. St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings

The Lakeview Academy Lions will take on the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeview Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight defeats, while St. Anne-Pacelli will come in with three straight victories.

Last Thursday, Lakeview Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Athens Christian and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli posted their closest win since August 28th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over East Coweta.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-94) St. Anne-Pacelli actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-20, 25-19, 13-25, 15-12.

St. Anne-Pacelli's win bumped their record up to 29-9. As for Lakeview Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
