Baseball Recap: Montverde Academy Takes a Loss

Montverde Academy managed to slip by The First Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Royals on Thursday, falling 13-2. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Montverde Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Feliciano, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Montverde Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for The First Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Montverde Academy has already played their next contest, a 14-3 win against East River on the 7th. As for The First Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Windermere on the 4th.
