Soccer Game Preview: West Davidson vs. Wheatmore

The West Davidson Dragons will venture away from home to challenge the Wheatmore Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

West Davidson will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against North Stokes on Thursday. The Dragons blew past the Vikings 6-1. With West Davidson ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit North Stokes with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaleb Peeler (2), Ayden Brown (2), Davien Turner, and Jamil Garcia.

Meanwhile, Wheatmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to East Davidson. Wheatmore were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Wheatmore's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for West Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-4.
