Volleyball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orem Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19.

Skyline's offense was headlined by Ashton Goddard and Lincoln Arnold, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Tag Begley and his 13 assists.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Orem, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Farmington on the 21st. As for Orem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Syracuse on the 21st.
